Terms of Use

Last updated October 16, 2026

These terms apply when you use the Skip to My Recipe app or this website. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

You need an account to save recipes. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time (see Delete your account).

Your recipes

Your recipes are yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run the app for you. We don't publish or share your recipes.

When you import a recipe from a website, photo or text, you're responsible for having the right to save it. Imports are for your personal, non-commercial use. Please credit and support the cooks who create recipes; the app keeps the source link for you.

Imports use AI and can make mistakes

Imported recipes are extracted automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Always review a recipe before cooking, especially quantities, temperatures, cooking times and allergens. Recipes, scaling and timers are a convenience, not food-safety or nutrition advice.

Free plan, subscriptions and lifetime purchases

  • The free plan lets you keep up to 5 recipes.
  • Paid plans are bought through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Monthly and annual subscriptions may start with a free trial and then renew automatically at the price shown in the app until you cancel.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged. Manage subscriptions in your Apple orGoogle account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • If a subscription ends, your account returns to the free plan: your 5 oldest recipes stay open and the rest are locked, not deleted. They unlock if you subscribe again.
  • Paid plans include a fair-use monthly limit on imports, shown on the pricing page.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app. For example, don't:

  • try to access other people's accounts or data;
  • overload, probe or attack our systems, or use the import feature to reach other systems;
  • use automated tools to import in bulk, or resell the service;
  • use the app to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may change or stop features. If we update these terms, we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Apple-specific terms

If you got the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
